FAQs
WHEN DO YOU RELEASE NEW, ORIGINAL WORK?
Announcements for new releases are made through social media or my newsletter. Follow along so you don’t miss out.
My original works are driven by inspiration — I do not adhere to a specific number of paintings produced each month or a designated release day. On average, I tend to release 5 to 10 new original pieces at a time, and I aim to launch them on the first Tuesday of every other month.
Releases sometimes occur as part of a collection or individually.
WHAT’S YOUR RETURN POLICY?
All sales are final, except in cases involving damaged or stolen goods. If items are lost or stolen during shipping, a full refund will be granted 14 days after the expected delivery date (to account for any shipping delays). For international shipments, please allow 2 to 3 weeks to confirm that your package hasn’t been delayed before requesting a refund.
In the case of damaged items, the recipient has the choice of a full refund or a replacement, where applicable. Replacements are only available for art prints, not for framed prints or original paintings. If framed art prints or original paintings arrive damaged, a full refund will be issued immediately.
Returns are not accepted after 60 days from the date of purchase.
WHEN SHOULD I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
All orders are typically processed and shipped within 10 business days. Orders are sent out in the order they were received. For domestic orders, you should expect to receive your work within 3 weeks. For international orders, it may take longer.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes, I ship from the United States and currently offer shipping to several international countries. If you don't see your country listed during checkout, please reach out to me to request its inclusion.
Please be aware that for international orders, some countries may impose customs fees that the recipient (you) will need to cover. If the fee is not settled by the recipient, the order will be returned to my studio. At that point, I can either provide a full refund or ask you to pay the additional shipping cost to have it re-shipped to you.
HOW ARE YOUR SHIPMENTS PACKAGED?
Sustainability is imperative at Julia Rockwell Studio. We aim to limit plastic, when possible, and strive to use recyclable and compostable materials with eco-friendly inks.
Unframed original paintings and art prints are placed in an archival-quality, clear protective sleeve, protected on both sides with backing, and shipped in a rigid, flat envelope mailer. If your order contains multiple pieces, it may be shipped in a box to ensure quality upon arrival and adequate protection.
Framed art prints or framed original paintings are packaged with bubble wrap and biodegradable packing peanuts. They are then sent in a box to guarantee proper protection of the frame.
WHO OWNS THE RIGHTS TO YOUR WORK?
I retain ownership of all rights to my artwork, which includes the rights to produce and sell my original pieces, as well as to create reproductions of any kind, whether original or printed, in any format. The collector is not permitted to reproduce any artwork without my permission, nor can they sell reproductions of the artwork without my consent.
DO YOU ACCEPT COMMISSIONS?
Commissions requests are welcomed. However, I am only able to accept a limited number of commissions a year. Commission work is also available for business collaborations on a limited basis.
